Alan Alfred Burgum at Hammersmith, in London, on 8th June 1941. Alan died in 1989. I had good fortune to meet them both and correspond with them (before the advent of e-mail!). This picture shows my last meeting with Hazel. Hazel was lovely, very engaging and very supportive of the family history. She slipped away peacefully at St Richard's Hospital on 5th March 2011 aged 92 years.
